I was reading a PDF file, when I received a message to update Adobe Reader. I installed the update, and restarted the computer. The opening screen was not my usual screen, so I restarted again, and this time, not only was the opening screen black, but on the bottom right hand side, in white letters were the words: “windows Vista build 6002. This copy of windows is not genuine.” I purchased this Dell computer new 3 years or so ago, with this copy of Windows vista pre-installed. How can this suddenly not be a genuine copy, and what should I do? Thank you.

I wonder if somehow when my daughter added itunes to the mix, it somehow superceded the process whereby I’m supposed to automatically get title artist song information from the net. Or, possibly, a necessary setting is not proper. I’m guessing if I wanted to start using itunes, I could get this information on the burned cds but I’d prefer to continue to use Windows Media. I’m using Dell Vista with Windows Media 11. Simply put, something is not allowing it to extract information from whatever internet source it’s supposed to get it from. I AM connected when I’m ripping.
